Our Herd

Our herd is a distinctive blend of Charolais and Black Angus cattle, combining the best traits of both breeds to produce premium-quality beef. Charolais are known for their robust build and excellent growth rates, while Black Angus cattle are prized for their marbling and rich flavor. Together, they create a perfect harmony of hardiness and exceptional taste. This mix is not only a strategic choice for producing superior beef but also a reflection of our commitment to raising well-rounded, healthy animals that thrive on our land.

The cattle are raised on rotational grazing fields, a practice we’ve embraced to ensure both the health of the animals and the vitality of our pastures. By moving the herd between sections of lush, nutrient-dense grass, we give each area time to recover and regenerate. This method mimics the natural grazing patterns of wild herds, allowing the soil to retain its fertility while preventing overgrazing. It’s a win-win approach that benefits our animals, the environment, and the quality of the beef we produce.

Rotational grazing also means our Charolais-Black Angus mix enjoys a diverse diet, full of fresh forage that enhances their health and flavor profile. The constant movement ensures the herd remains active and stress-free, resulting in meat that is tender, flavorful, and ethically raised.
